Bolton's biggest padel venue is less than a mile from the town centre, and it is indoors. So a Bolton player can get a game on one of eight indoor courts without leaving town.
Beyond that, the courts are spread across the neighbouring towns of Greater Manchester. As of October 2026 we list seven venues with 27 courts within seven miles of Bolton: 10 indoor and 17 outdoor, and eight of those outdoor courts are covered. Six of the seven take bookings from anyone.
Just Padel (Bolton) in BL3 has eight indoor courts with panoramic glass, plus coaching. It is pay and play and books through Playtomic.
On the other side of the centre in BL2, Powerleague (Bolton) has four covered outdoor courts. It is listed as a sports club or community association, so check how it handles bookings from non-members before you rely on it.
Radcliffe, four to five miles east, has two venues. Heart Of Padel has five outdoor courts with panoramic glass and a café, and opens from 6am to 11pm every day. Padel Inn (Radcliffe) has one indoor court three minutes from Radcliffe tram stop.
In Bury, Apex Padel Bury has a single indoor court, bookable on Playtomic.
Lr Padel Club in Atherton has four covered outdoor courts, coaching and racket hire, and is open 7am to 10pm daily. Worsley Sports Club has four open outdoor courts and is pay and play, open six days a week from 8am to 10pm.
Indoor courts are concentrated in one place. Eight of the area's 10 are at Just Padel, and the other two are the single courts at Padel Inn and Apex Padel. If you want an indoor game and a choice of slots, Just Padel is where the numbers are.
The covered outdoor courts at Powerleague and Lr Padel Club give you a roof but no walls, so they stay playable in rain and still feel the cold. Heart Of Padel and Worsley are fully open, so look at the forecast before a winter booking there.
Only one venue had prices in our sample. On 4 October 2026, a court at Heart Of Padel cost from £38 an hour off-peak to £48 at peak, for the whole court, so four players share it.
Peak and off-peak rates differ at every club, and the rest publish their prices on their booking pages.
Five of the seven venues are within a mile of a station or tram stop. The closest walks are Padel Inn, three minutes from Radcliffe tram stop, and Lr Padel Club, seven minutes from Atherton station. Just Padel is 13 minutes from Bolton station.
Heart Of Padel is 20 minutes on foot from Radcliffe tram stop, and Worsley is 18 minutes from Walkden. Every venue has parking.
Six of the seven venues use Playtomic. Its open matches let you join a game other players have set up, filtered by level, which is the quickest way to fill a court if you are one or two short.
Coaching is listed at two venues, Just Padel and Lr Padel Club, and Lr Padel Club is the only one with racket hire.
Our guide on how to book a padel court in the UK covers the apps and how booking works. For the next steps, there are ideas on finding padel partners and an explainer on padel lessons.
