Padel in London: our guide
Updated October 2026

London doesn't have one padel district. It has dozens of small ones: a single court in Hyde Park, a dozen covered courts in Chiswick, 13 indoor courts near Harlesden, a members' club in Fulham. For most people the right venue is simply the one on their own Tube or rail line.
As of October 2026 we list 79 venues within 14 miles of the centre, with 290 courts between them. 94 of those courts are fully indoors. The other 196 are outdoor, although a fair number of those sit under a roof. 52 venues let anyone book, and the remaining 27 are members' clubs.
Where the courts are, area by area
Central London and the river
The closest courts to the middle of town are in the parks. The Courts at The Regent's Park has two outdoor courts seven minutes' walk from Baker Street, and The Courts at Hyde Park has one. Both offer coaching.

Just south of the river, The Padel Yard (Vauxhall) has six covered outdoor courts five minutes from Vauxhall station. Rocket Padel (Battersea) has four indoor courts with panoramic glass, racket hire and coaching, a short walk from Battersea Power Station on the Northern line. Battersea Park Millennium Arena adds four outdoor courts and has parking.
North of Hyde Park, Padel Social Club (Paddington) runs four covered courts near Royal Oak, with rackets to hire. In the east of the centre, Powerleague (Shoreditch) has two outdoor courts two minutes from Shoreditch High Street.
South west: Fulham, Wandsworth, Barnes and Wimbledon
This is the busiest patch on the map. Padel Social Club (Earls Court) has five outdoor courts with panoramic glass, three minutes from West Brompton. The Padel Yard (Wandsworth) has six covered courts by Wandsworth Town station, and Battersea Sports Centre has one court near Clapham Junction.
Around Barnes and Roehampton you'll find single courts at Barn Elms Sports Trust and Rocks Lane (Barnes), and three covered courts at the National Tennis Centre. Further south, Grassroots Padel in Wimbledon has five outdoor courts and Hybrid Fitness (Wimbledon) has one indoor court, open 6am to 10pm every day.
The members' clubs cluster here too: Hurlingham Club (four courts), Harbour Club (Chelsea) (three indoor), Roehampton Club and David Lloyd (Raynes Park).
West: Chiswick, Acton, Ealing and out to Southall
Rocks Lane (Chiswick) has 12 covered outdoor courts, three minutes from Turnham Green, one of the biggest sets of courts anywhere in London. Nearby, The Queen's Club in West Kensington has three courts for members, and Acton has two members' venues, Modeclub West London and David Lloyd (Acton Park).

Out past Ealing, Coffee and Padel in Greenford has four indoor courts with panoramic glass, a singles court, racket hire and a café, and is open from 7am until 1am. Parkside Padel Club in Southall has three covered courts, and David Lloyd (Sudbury Hill) has five for members.
North west and north
The biggest indoor venue in the whole area is Racketeer near Harlesden, with 13 indoor courts, coaching and parking. The 108 has six indoor courts four minutes from Brent Cross West, and S3 Padel (Wembley) has four outdoor courts five minutes from Wembley Stadium station.
Closer in, House of Racquet on the Caledonian Road has four indoor courts and Padel Play London in N4 has three. Further up the Northern line, Padelhub N20 has six indoor courts near Totteridge and Whetstone, and Wingate & Finchley Football Club has five outdoor courts. Powerleague (Mill Hill) adds four more.
East: Docklands, Stratford and Ilford
East London has fewer venues but bigger ones. Padium (Canary Wharf) has nine courts, seven of them indoor, two minutes from Heron Quays DLR. Stratford Padel Club also has nine, eight indoor, with coaching and parking.
Rocket Padel (Beckton) has five indoor courts by Beckton DLR, and Rocket Padel (Ilford) has 12 indoor courts with panoramic glass. Out towards Essex there are four indoor courts at Roding Sports Centre in Chigwell and four covered courts at Powerleague (Romford).
South east: Bermondsey to Bromley
Padel Box Bermondsey is the indoor venue in south east London closest to the centre, with five courts, racket hire, coaching and parking. Beyond it the venues spread out into the suburbs: Padel Padel (Eltham) with four outdoor courts, Catford Wanderers Sports Club with three, Flamingo Park Sports Ground in Chislehurst and Bexley Cricket Club with four each.
Bromley has a run of members' clubs, including The Sundridge Park Club and Bromley Sports Club, while Bannatyne Health Club (Grove Park) has three covered courts.
The edges: Surrey, Hertfordshire and Essex
Our 14-mile circle reaches past the London boundary. To the south, S3 Padel (Sutton) has four covered courts with panoramic glass, racket hire, a café and step-free access. Padelhub KT19 (Epsom) has five indoor courts, and Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club has five for members.

To the north, Padel District (Waltham Abbey) has six outdoor courts, Padel Tree (Arkley) three with panoramic glass, and Farm Padel (Shenley) one indoor and one covered outdoor court.
Indoor, covered or open to the sky
A third of London's courts are fully indoors, and most of them are in a handful of large halls: Racketeer, Rocket Padel in Ilford, Stratford Padel Club, Padium and Padelhub N20 account for 46 of the 94. If you want a guaranteed dry game in January, those are the names to look at first.
Covered outdoor courts are the middle ground. About 60 outdoor courts at 16 venues are listed as covered, including Rocks Lane in Chiswick, both Padel Yard sites and Padel Social Club in Paddington. A roof keeps the rain off the glass, though you'll still feel the cold in winter, so dress in layers.
The rest are open courts, mostly at tennis and sports clubs. They're fine for most of the year, but in a wet London week check the venue's cancellation rules before you book.
What a court costs
Only two London venues gave us a price we could check, so treat these as a sample. On 4 October 2026 a court for an hour cost £30 off-peak to £70 peak at Coffee and Padel, and £20 to £60 at S3 Padel (Sutton). Split four ways, that's roughly £5 to £17.50 each.
Peak and off-peak prices differ a lot, as those two ranges show. Most venues show their current prices on their booking page, so check there before you commit. Members' clubs work differently: you'll need a membership before you can book a court at all.
Getting there
This is where London does well. 69 of the 79 venues are within a mile of a station, and several are almost on the platform: Powerleague Shoreditch and Padium are two minutes away, Padel Social Club Earls Court and Rocks Lane Chiswick three.
Parking is the opposite story. 59 venues list parking, but nearly all of them are in the outer boroughs. In the centre only Battersea Park Millennium Arena, Battersea Sports Centre, Padel Box Bermondsey and a few members' clubs list any, so take the Tube or cycle.
At the far edges it's the other way round. Padel Tree in Arkley is a 44-minute walk from the nearest station, Farm Padel in Shenley 50 minutes and Dyrham Park Country Club 55, so plan on driving.
Finding a game
Playtomic is the main booking app here, used by 27 venues. MATCHi is used by six, Padel Mates and ClubSpark by four each, and a few venues run their own systems. Playtomic and Padel Mates both let you join open matches, where you pick a game at your level and book a single spot, which is handy if you're short of a fourth.
38 venues offer coaching and eight hire out rackets, so you can turn up for a first session without buying kit. Our guide to booking a padel court in the UK covers how the apps work, and there's more on finding padel partners and padel lessons if you're starting from scratch.
New courts on the way
- Padel Social Club Kentish Town: eight courts, expected in November 2026.
- Pure Padel Coulsdon: six indoor courts, expected in 2026.
- Isleworth Leisure Centre: three courts, expected in spring or summer 2027.
Beyond London
If you live on the outer edge, the next area pages may be closer than the centre: Watford (15 miles), Chelmsford (30 miles), Maidstone (32 miles) and Reading (37 miles).
The list above is kept up to date as venues open, close or change their courts, so it's the place to check before you travel. If you're heading out for your first game, our guide to padel etiquette and what to wear will save you an awkward moment at the door.
