Padel courts in
Blackburn.

Blackburn has fewer padel venues than its bigger neighbours, but the ones it has are large. Two indoor clubs within two miles of the town centre have 17 courts between them, and a third in Rishton adds six more.

As of October 2026 we list five venues with 28 courts within seven miles of Blackburn. Twenty-three of those courts are indoors, and four of the five venues are pay and play.

Blackburn town

Nexo Padel Club And Academy, under a mile from the centre in BB2, has eight indoor courts and is 12 minutes on foot from Blackburn station.

In BB1, Slazenger Padel Clubs (Blackburn) is the largest venue, with nine indoor courts behind panoramic glass. It has a café and racket hire, is listed as accessible, and opens from 6am to 10pm every day.

Blackburn Northern has one outdoor court with coaching, for members.

Rishton

A mile and a half east, Clubhouse in Rishton has six indoor courts with panoramic glass and coaching, booked on Playtomic.

Towards Langho

About four miles north, Mytton Fold Golf Club has four outdoor courts, pay and play, 11 minutes on foot from Langho station.

Indoor first

All 23 indoor courts are at three clubs, and all three are pay and play: Slazenger (nine), Nexo (eight) and Clubhouse (six). That is plenty of choice for a wet evening.

The five outdoor courts, four at Mytton Fold and one at Blackburn Northern, are uncovered, so they depend on the weather.

What a court costs

We have a price sample for Slazenger, checked on 4 October 2026: from £16 an hour at the quietest times up to £48 at peak, for the whole court. That is a wide spread, so it pays to look at off-peak slots if your diary is flexible.

The other venues publish their prices on their booking pages, and their peak and off-peak rates will differ too.

Getting there

Three venues are within a mile of a station. Mytton Fold is 11 minutes from Langho and Nexo 12 minutes from Blackburn. Blackburn Northern is 23 minutes from Ramsgreave & Wilpshire.

Clubhouse is a 32-minute walk from Rishton station and Slazenger 40 minutes from Blackburn, so most people will drive. All five venues have parking.

Playtomic takes bookings at Slazenger, Clubhouse and Blackburn Northern. Its open matches let you join other players' games at your level, a simple way to make up a four. Nexo and Mytton Fold have no booking app listed with us, so check their own websites.

Stanley Sports Hub in Accrington, about five miles from Blackburn, is listed as opening soon with two outdoor courts.

Preston is 9 miles west and Bolton 12 miles south. Manchester is 21 miles, Warrington 25 and Stockport 27.

Further off are Liverpool (31 miles) and Leeds (38).
