Padel in Lincoln: our guide
Updated October 2026
Lincoln is a city of uphill and downhill, with the cathedral on top and most of everyday life below it. The padel is a lowland affair: two small indoor clubs within about a mile of the centre, and the rest out to the south-west towards Hykeham and Doddington.
It is a small list. As of October 2026 we count five venues with 12 courts within nine miles of Lincoln, split exactly in half between indoor and outdoor. Every one of them is pay and play, so there are no membership doors to knock on.
Central Lincoln and the south-west
Near the centre
Gotpadelclub (Lincoln) in LN5, under a mile from the centre, has two indoor courts. Just over a mile out in LN2, Vida Del Padel (Lincoln) has three indoor courts with panoramic glass, a singles court and coaching.
LN6, Hykeham and Doddington
Three miles south-west, Ruston's Sports & Social Club has two outdoor courts. A little further on, Eat Sleep Padel has one indoor court with panoramic glass. It is listed as accessible and opens very early, from 4.30am, through to midnight every day.
Out at Doddington, almost five miles from the city, Doddington Padel Courts is the largest venue, with four outdoor courts, racket hire and coaching.
Indoor courts and open ones
Six indoor courts across three venues is not a lot, and Eat Sleep Padel has only one of them, so in wet weather Vida Del Padel and Gotpadelclub are where most of the indoor capacity is.
The six outdoor courts at Ruston's and Doddington are not listed as covered. Lincolnshire is one of the drier parts of England, but these courts are still open to whatever the day brings.
Prices
One venue was in our price sample. On 4 October 2026, Eat Sleep Padel charged from £20 an hour for the court, up to £40 at peak. Split four ways, that is £5 to £10 each.
Peak and off-peak prices differ everywhere. The other four venues list their rates on their booking pages.
Trains and parking
Gotpadelclub is the easiest by train, 15 minutes' walk from Lincoln Central. Eat Sleep Padel is 13 minutes from Hykeham station, and Ruston's about 28 minutes from the same stop. Vida Del Padel is a longer walk, around 37 minutes from Lincoln Central.
All five venues list parking, and Doddington in particular is one to drive to.
Booking and playing partners
Four of the five venues use Playtomic: Vida Del Padel, Ruston's, Eat Sleep Padel and Doddington. The app lets you book and also join open matches set up by other players, which is a good way in when you know nobody else who plays.
Vida Del Padel and Doddington both offer coaching, and Doddington hires out rackets.
Our guide to booking a padel court in the UK explains how the apps work. For more on meeting people to play with, see finding padel partners, and if you would like some coaching, what padel lessons involve.
Nearest other guides
Lincoln is some way from the next city in our guides. Nottingham is 32 miles south-west, Hull 36 miles north and Sheffield 40 miles west.
The list above is kept up to date as courts open and venues change how you book. If your first game is coming up, the beginner's guide to padel covers the basics.
