Padel in Belfast: our guide
Updated October 2026
Padel around Belfast is mostly a story of one operator and a lot of roofs. Of the nine venues within 15 miles of the city, four are run by Let's Go Padel, and between them they hold 26 of the area's 44 courts.
As of October 2026, 23 of those courts are indoors and 20 more sit under cover, which leaves a single court open to the weather. For a city where rain is never far off, that matters more than anything else on this page. Every venue is pay and play, and all nine take bookings online.
Courts in the city and the commuter towns
In the city
The closest courts to the centre are at Let's Go Padel Crumlin Road in north Belfast: four indoor courts with parking, open 9am to 11pm every day.
South Belfast has two club venues. Windsor Lawn Tennis Club has one outdoor court, and Belfast Boat Club beside the River Lagan has three covered courts. Both are pay and play despite the club names.
Over in the east, Let's Go Padel East Belfast (Shorts) has seven indoor courts and parking, and opens at 6.30am, the earliest start of the venues that publish their hours.
South: Carryduff and Moira
Five miles south of the centre, Let's Go Padel Carryduff is the largest venue in the area, with 11 covered courts. It's also one of only two places here that offer coaching.
Further out in County Down, Padel54 in Moira has eight indoor courts and the longest list of extras: panoramic glass, a singles court, racket hire, changing rooms, a café, parking and step-free access.
North and east: Ballyclare, Antrim and Bangor
Let's Go Padel Ballyclare has four courts, two indoor and two covered outdoor. Near Antrim, Padel Society Muckamore has four covered courts with parking, open from 8am.
On the coast at Bangor, Eddie Irvine Sports has two indoor courts, one of them a singles court, plus racket hire and coaching.
Staying dry
Almost every court in the area is protected from the weather. Crumlin Road, East Belfast, Padel54 and Eddie Irvine Sports are fully indoors, and Ballyclare has two indoor courts of its four.
Carryduff, Belfast Boat Club, Muckamore and the other two Ballyclare courts are covered outdoor courts. A roof keeps the rain off the glass and the surface, but the sides are open, so on a January evening you'll want an extra layer for the warm-up.
Windsor's single court is the only one here with no cover at all.
What it costs
Only one venue gave us a price we could check. On 4 October 2026, a court for an hour at Padel54 cost from £15 off-peak to £36 at peak, which works out at roughly £3.75 to £9 each for a four.
That's one venue, so don't read it as the going rate across the city. Peak and off-peak prices differ, and the other venues show their current prices on their booking pages.
Getting there
We don't yet have station distances for the Belfast venues, so check the walk before you rely on public transport. Translink runs the city's Metro buses and the NI Railways lines out to the commuter towns, and its journey planner covers both.
Four venues list parking: Let's Go Padel Crumlin Road, Let's Go Padel East Belfast, Padel Society Muckamore and Padel54. For the venues further out, such as Moira, Antrim and Ballyclare, a car will usually be the simpler option.
Finding a game
Booking is unusually simple here. Eight of the nine venues use Playtomic, and Eddie Irvine Sports runs its own booking system. One app on your phone covers almost the whole area.
Playtomic also lists open matches, where you join a game at your level and book a single place. That's the quickest way to fill a four if your usual partners drop out.
Coaching is thinner on the ground, offered at Let's Go Padel Carryduff and Eddie Irvine Sports. Racket hire is listed at Eddie Irvine Sports and Padel54. Our guide to booking a padel court in the UK walks through how the apps work, and there's more on finding padel partners and padel lessons.
New courts on the way
- House of Padel Belfast: eight indoor courts, 1.4 miles from the centre, expected by the end of September 2026. That date has now passed, so check the list above to see whether it has opened.
- Let's Go Padel Weavers Cross: four indoor courts in the city centre, first expected in the first half of 2026. The opening has slipped and no new date has been given.
The list above is kept up to date as venues open and change, so it's the first place to look before you book. If you're new to the game, our beginner's guide to padel covers what to expect from your first session.
