What we collect and why
UK data protection law asks us to give a reason (a “lawful basis”) for each thing we keep. Here’s everything, in one place.

We don’t collect sensitive information such as health details, and the site isn’t meant for children under 13.
Who else handles it
A few trusted services help us run the site. Each one only gets what it needs for its job:
- Rocket.net hosts the website and its database.
- Mailgun sends our emails, from servers in the EU.
- Stripe handles card payments once the shop opens. We never see your full card number.
- postcodes.io turns a postcode into a location when you search or save your home area.
- Esri and OpenStreetMap supply the map and aerial images, so they see your IP address when the map loads, as any website you visit does.
Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where that happens, your data is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the standard contract terms approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Cookies and your browser
We only use what’s needed for the site to work, so there’s no cookie banner to click through:
- Signing in: WordPress cookies that keep you signed in to your account.
- Your basket: WooCommerce cookies that remember what’s in your basket.
- Saved in your browser: your saved courts and level check result, so they’re there next time. You can clear them from your browser settings.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we’ll ask first and update this page.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of the data we hold about you
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your data, or close your account
- stop using your data for a particular purpose
- send your data to you or another service in a usable format

Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we’ll update this page and the date above. If a change affects you in a significant way, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
